About Us

Good Company started as an Auckland based, weekend food truck with the aim to grow the business and eventually get home to Hawke's Bay. When we herd Giants new plans, we new it was the perfect time to move Good Company to the Bay.

Gemma, is a Hawke's Bay local who has spent her career traveling the world, working in a range of different restaurants, cafes and catering companies. Her most memorable time was working as a personal chef on super-yachts living and cooking in places like France, Italy, Spain, the Caribbean, New York and Hong Kong. Shopping at local markets and learning new skills from different cultures was a rewarding dream come true. She is now the Development Kitchen Manager at My Food Bag, working closely with the Innovation Department and team of chefs.

Sai is a well known face in Britomart, a bustling area of downtown Auckland. There's a good chance if you've had a great coffee in the area, it came from him. He has worked front of house in the hospitality industry for most of his life in a range of great restaurants and hotels across Auckland. He prides himself on customer relations and loves a chat about rugby, any sport in general and fishing.
